All Dragons Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: The Path of Each Dragon in Hyrule on the Map

During your exploration of Hyrule in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, and more particularly of the Sky, you will inevitably come across one of the four great dragons on your path. Your first idea, upon seeing them, will probably be to climb on them to recover rare and precious materials. You are right! The components of these magnificent creatures are very useful for the adventure and the white dragon even allows you to access a ultimate reward. Below you will find the exact route for each of the dragons in the game. But before that, you need to know some essential information:

  • The transparent paths on the maps indicate the passages where the dragons are in the Depths and not on the Surface. We advise you to wait for them on the Surface instead,
  • The white dragon, however, never passes into the Depths,
  • The best technique to hope to see a dragon andto wait forperched high in the sky from a Tower, that it comes out of a chasm. According to the maps below, the three dragons will always exit through the same chasm and then always enter the same other one,
  • Be careful though, there is no specific schedule to see a dragon, only the journey is the same for everyone,
  • Dragons are not hostile but do not like to be disturbed: they will let you ride on their backs but you will have to be careful of the weather conditions they generate,
  • Finally, it is only possible to obtainone material only dragon at a time. If you tap on a dragon’s back to get its scale, you will have to wait until the next time to hope to get a claw for example.

Rordrac, the yellow lightning dragon

  • Kind : Electricity
  • Extreme condition : a ball of electricity can strike you and paralyze you. You will fall to the ground.
  • Appropriate attire : Insulating clothing or Electro remedy
  • Components : Rordrac’s horn, claw, scale, tooth and dragon rock

Rordrac’s path is one of the shortest. He will always exit through the chasm located south of the Gerudo Canyon Tower. Use the latter to go high in the sky to position yourself on one of the islands around to wait for Rordrac to show his head out of the abyss.

Ordrac likes to fly in the warm region of Ordinn, in the northeast of the map. He will always exit through the chasm located to the right of the Tower of Mount Ramol, in Akkala before entering the one next to the Tower of the Ruins of the Obscurities. These two towers are therefore good places to wait, although Death Mountain can also be an interesting spot.

The White Dragon

There are no extreme conditions above the white dragon, which will therefore be easier to approach. However, at the beginning of your game, it will be very difficult to find it since it will fly very high in the sky. Unless you have three stamina gauges, a good battery and luck, it is better towait for the latter to come down at the same height as the other dragons. To do this, you will need to complete the Lost Woods quest with the Korogus.

Once this is done, it will not be very difficult to come across him since he never goes into the Depths and he passes near all the Towers on the map. The guide below explains why it is important to go on the back of the white dragon.
