Andrew Tate is stirring up the memecoin market, claiming to “destroy Solana”

Memecoin season is still in full swing and currently Solana is the focus of the celebrity memecoin craze. And it seems like it’s only a matter of time before another celebrity joins the fray.

After Iggy Azalea, Andrew Tate is now the one stirring up the Solana community. The Tate-inspired memecoin is currently trending on DEXScreener, accumulating a multi-million dollar capitalization in less than a few hours.

Andrew Tate is a British-American former professional kickboxer and social media influencer. Tate has confirmed that he is indeed “creating chaos” in the cryptocurrency market and is trying to “take down Solana.”

“A lot of people asked me about all the chaos I created in the crypto market when I was trying to take down Solana. Millions of tweets were created today just because of me and my stupid tweets, what a mess I created. I’m sure some people have made millions of dollars behind my back…”

Indeed, Tate’s X account is flooded with cryptocurrency-related tweets, with some even claiming he burned over $30 million worth of memecoins.

Again, memecoins carry a significant risk of capital loss due to their volatility and most of them do not have any particular utility.
