Hogwarts Legacy Battle Arenas
Unlike collectibles, Hogwarts Legacy Battle Arenas can be found and activated without having to find their corresponding mission. If you want to do things in order, you must go to a small village located at the North of the Feldcroft Region (west of the map). It is easy to find, since it is in the “corridor” that you enter if you come from the northern part of the map.
In this village you can talk to a lady who sends you to the first Battle Arena to investigate it and tell her what it is exactly. The mission has no significance other than to show you that these arenas exist.
There is a total of 3 Battle Arenas: Two normal ones and one exclusive to the Dark Arts DLC. The two normal ones are located south of the Feldcroft Region and in the swampy area north of the map. They can’t be missed. The Dark Arts Arena is located south of the Forbidden Forest. If you don’t have the DLC, you can’t access it.

It is important to note that in the Dark Arts Arena you will have a predefined spell selection: Confringo, Avada Kedavra, Crucio and Imperio. In other words, forbidden and unforgivable magic.
And what are Battle Arenas? There is no mystery to them: smash all the vases around and the golden statue will open its arms, interact and you will enter a horde combat arena. Survive the few rounds there are and that’s it. When you complete them, you get the Ashwinders Attire and Thief’s jacket in normal arenas and the Duelist Mask in the Dark Arts arena.
If you’re looking to get better at wizarding duels and/or complete Field Guide Challenges, specifically those focused on combat, then the Battle Arenas are your best friend:
- They have the Most of the enemies you must defeat to complete the different stages of the challenges (does not include Infamous Rivals and Dugbogs, for example)
- They allow you complete Dueling Feats quickly and without having to look for enemies. In the last phase you must perform a total of 42 feats… and I remind you that these challenges are not cumulative. Each phase has a total number of actions.
