The mission thread of Thiollier In Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, it’s not overly complicated to complete. Getting through it can be a pain, but following the quest itself is pretty straightforward… until you get to a very specific point where FromSoftware gets a little mischievous. Here’s how to solve the puzzle without giving away any story spoilers.
First you must meet Thiollier, aka the Lord of Poisons, along with the Grace called Cross of the Path of the Column in the Plain of Graves, south of Ensis Castle. Just make the introductions and exhaust all the dialogues. Then you must advance through the Shadow Realm until you see the message “A Great Rune has been broken” and head to The Fissure in the southernmost area of the entire map.
Proceed through The Rift until you reach the final boss and defeat him. At the back of the fighting arena you will see a cave with a plant-human being. He offers you two options: Drink the nectar or Leave. Drink without fear and die. Common sense will tell you not to drink any more, but I tell you to repeat the action up to seven or eight more times.

Then visit Thiollier, tell him everything you’ve seen, and return to the cave. Talk until you run out of dialogue, drink again, and repeat until you finish the quest thread. I don’t need to tell you where you end the thread, because Elden Ring makes it very clear. When in doubt, try drinking a few more times just in case.
