The main bosses in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree have been the subject of much discussion, even more so than some of the other bosses in the base game… though not as much as Malenia and Radahn at launch. The debate has once again revolved around difficulty. With this in mind, it can be understandable that some players may prefer to skip some bosses.
Rellana, Knight of the Twin Moon He is one of the best bosses of all Shadow of the Erdtree. The combat is demanding and forces you to learn certain devastating attacks, such as the three-moon spell. While it is exciting and beautiful, it can be a real headache for players who do not want to try it a thousand times and/or complicate their lives.
An alternative route to avoid Rellana
What if I told you that there is a way to avoid their fight? There is an alternative path that takes us from the main gate of Ensis Castle to the back gate. In other words, a direct confrontation with Rellana is not strictly mandatory. Above this paragraph you have a video in which you can see in detail the entire path, from the start point to the end.
If for any reason you don’t want/can’t watch the video, you can watch the route on the map. You must start at the Grace called Frente al Castillo and take the path that goes southeast. Then stick to the northern ravine and look for a stone path that goes down.
Continue southeast through the poison swamp to a blocked air current. Hit the monolith to unblock the current and ascend to the Fort of Rebuke in Altus Umbrio. Exit the fortress and head north. If you follow both the video and the map, you will reach the next Grace that you find after defeating Rellana.
