Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol postpone token merger to July 15

ASI Alliance, a new alliance formed by Fetch.ai, SingularityNET (SNET) and Ocean Protocol, has pushed back the token merger to July 15, instead of the previously scheduled June 13.

Preparations for the merger involved complex integration and coordination with various third-party entities, which was necessary for a smooth transition. According to the team, the change schedule is to ensure seamless handling of technical and logistical requirements related to exchanges, validators and ecosystem partners.

Humayun Sheikh, CEO of Fetch.ai and Chairman of Artificial Superintelligence Alliance said:

“While completion of the ASI token merger is currently scheduled for July due to necessary adjustments by our partners, the commitment and vision driving this alliance remains stronger than ever run out of”.

Bruce Pon, founder and CEO of Ocean Protocol and board director of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, expressed gratitude for the community’s patience and expectations for the ASI token.

“We appreciate the community’s patience and look forward to a combined ASI token supported by all partners, exchanges and token holders.”

The team noted that token holders do not need to take any action and the merger is not expected to be delayed any further.
