The path to power in Hogwarts Legacy goes beyond learning spells, charms, and curses. Obtaining equipment is just as important, and upgrading it to its full potential is even more important! However, doing so takes a lot of hard work.
The first step to upgrading pieces of equipment is to get the Loom Summoning Spellto do this you must advance in the story and do the secondary missions of Deek, the house elf who helps you manage and expand your Room of RequirementThe next step is to place it in the room and interact.
You can upgrade all pieces of equipment: hats, gloves, face, scarves, robes, and undergarments. Pieces have two types of upgrades:
- Stats improvements: Each piece has three upgrades, which affect the amount of attack and require a certain amount of ingredients.
- Attribute Slot: Here you can equip runes that you find in enemy camps and other locations. These runes enhance the effects of specific spells and curses. For example, they increase Confringo’s damage.
And where do you get the ingredients to improve stats? From caring for and breeding magical animals. The materials you get from them (furs, feathers, and more) will serve you for the different phases of the upgrades. You can also buy them, but they are quite expensive. I recommend having at least one or two animals of each species to be well supplied with materials.
