Koltin is a very interesting character that you can meet in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. In his very colorful caravan, he can then exchange crystals for exclusive rewards including the Holding of the Spirits. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
How to unlock Koltin and his hot air balloon?
Before you can exchange your precious Elusis Crystals for Koltin’s wonderful merchandise, you’ll need to find the NPC. It’s easy: head to the Forest Relaywest of Ordinn Ravine Tower, and speak to his brother Kilton ! Remember, in Breath of the Wild, he was the secret merchant who could sell all sorts of things related to monsters. This time, he left his caravan to his brother but the latter is very disappointed not to be able to transform into Satori. You will have to help him find a first Crystal to unlock “The Wanderings of Koltin”.
Once the first crystal is given to Koltin, he will go and land his hot air balloon in another location. You must then go to the Village of Euzéro to find Kilton and Grosaillieh talking. His brother will tell you that the caravan only appears at night and that it is a little further up the hill.
If he changes location, don’t hesitate to ask Kilton again in Euzero Village where his brother is. He will always tell you his location.
