A new “Unarmed Combat – Dodge” challenge awaits you in this Gerudo Desert sanctuary on Zelda TotK! If you want to get the final chest, you will have to eliminate the golems and intelligently use the elements around you like laser traps or thorns.

While the fight inside this Zelda Tears of the Kingdom sanctuary is quite complex, the challenge that awaits you outside in order to reach it is just as complex. Find our video guide at the top of the article as well as a written and illustrated version below.

Where to find the Milio Tanigo sanctuary?

To easily find this shrine, we advise you to first complete the main quest of Riju and the Gerudo City but also to equip yourself with a heat-resistant outfit. You can also use a Pikpik Remedy to combat high temperatures. Completing the Temple of Lightning will indeed allow you to lift the sandstorm of the Gerudo Lands and be able to explore the region freely.

Once there, you will see that the temple is surrounded by enemies but especially by quicksand. You must use a sand raft to advance. For our part, we opted for the use of the power Retrospective : move a wooden plank up and down to the enemy platform, get on it, use the backtrack on it and you’re done.

How to complete it?

  • In this new test of unarmed combat, you will lose all your equipment and you will have to make do with the means at hand,
  • Don’t forget to collect the weapons at the entrance with the bow and arrows,
  • In this dungeon, you can spot red lasers everywhere: these activate traps that you must dodge but… that you can also use against enemies! Some activate, for example, large jets of flame that can burn the golems that chase you,
  • Also consider using the Amalgam power on the thorns in the water for example in order to strengthen your weapons.
