To celebrate Mateo’s arrival in Pokémon GO, Niantic is offering you a special study called “On the Road to New Friendships” in which you will have to exchange gifts with him, but not only that… Many tasks and rewards await you in this quest.
Mateo arrives in Pokémon GO to exchange gifts from around the world, however, you will have to complete Routes to hope to meet him to help you complete this mission that awaits you.
On the Road to New Pokémon GO Friendships: How to Access Special Research?
This special study is Automatically unlocks when you log into the game from Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 10 a.m. Once logged in, simply go to the tab at the bottom right of your screen, then to the one dedicated to special studies. You should see one called “On the Road to New Friendships”. Note that it is not limited in time unlike the one-off study that you can do at the same time.
On the Road to New Pokémon GO Friendships: List of Tasks and Rewards
The “On the Road to New Friendships” special study is divided into 4 different stages, each with four missions and a final reward (at least, for the first three currently). Note that you will have to wait a few days to have the details of the last stage.
Step 1/4
- Explore 1 km : Meeting with Ponchiot.
- Spin 3 PokéStops : 900 PX.
- Win a candy by going exploring with your buddy : 5 Raspberry Berries.
- Exchange a gift with Mateo : 1 Incense.
- Rewards for completing the stage : 1,000 XP and 1,000 Stardust.
Step 2/4
- Catch 7 Pokemon : 10 Poké Balls.
- Spin 5 PokéStops : 1,500 PX.
- Explore 3 km : Meeting with Moumouton.
- Walk 1000 m following a road : Meeting with Chovsourir.
- Rewards for completing the stage : 1,000 Stardust and 5 Super Balls.
Step 3/4
- Hatch an egg : Meeting with Barpau.
- Spin 15 PokéStops : 2,000 PX.
- Complete 5 field studies : 1,000 Stardust.
- Exchange 3 gifts with Mateo : Meeting with Farfuret from Hisui.
- Rewards for completing the stage :1,000 Stardust and 3 Hyper Balls.
Step 4/4
- Collect your reward : 10 Super Balls.
- Collect your reward : 5 Nanana Berries.
- Collect your reward : 10 Raspberry Berries.
- Rewards for completing the stage : Meet Hisui’s Farfuret, 1,000 Stardust and 1,000 XP.
