Palworld: All types and the strengths and weaknesses of each of the Pals

One of the features that Palworld shares with the Pokémon universe is that the Pals that you can capture during the adventure have their own types, so there are some fire, water, plant, etc. This means that, as in the saga of The Pokémon Company, each Pal is strong and weak against certain types.

One reason this is so important to keep in mind is that some Pals are really strong, so it’s not enough to just use a creature that’s powerful. You want to use ones that have really effective attacks, to take more life than normal out of any opponent.

Luckily, unlike what happens in the Pokémon games, Here everything is much more simplifiedsince it is not that one type has an advantage against many and is weak against many others. Most of them are very effective against one and not very effective against another, nothing more.

Specifically, there is a total of nine elementsthe name they receive in this game, so it is something to always keep in mind when creating the most balanced team possible. You can see it better in the following table in which we detail the strengths and weaknesses of all of them.

Even so, if the table is not enough for you, you can also use the following image that shows everything in a very simplified way. All you have to do is follow the direction of the arrows to check the established order, so that it can be seen that the earth ones have an advantage over the electric ones and these over the water ones. The only ones that are apparently better are the fire ones, since they are the only ones that are strong against two elements.

Among the planned future improvements and features there is no mention of adding more types to the list, but as this is a game that is not finished and is constantly being expanded it would not be surprising if this were to happen sooner or later. For now you already have some work ahead of you to learn the current list.
