Pokemon Bank
Since February 2014, Pokémon players have had a storage and transfer tool downloadable on 3DS and New 3DS. Unfortunately the application is not free and no longer has the free trial month, the license will cost you the sum of 5€ per year.
The Pokémon Bank allows you to store up to 3,000 Pokémon (100 boxes of 30), you can arrange and rename the boxes as you wish in the 10 groups provided for this purpose. The Pokémon Bank provides an advanced search system that is more of a gimmick than a real argument, we can still highlight the presence of the search by chromatic Pokémon.
To access your Pokémon Bank, you will need your Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire game and a Wi-Fi connection since the storage system works via the cloud. This allows you to transfer your Pokémon between your 6th generation versions with a single console. The application limits storage to Pokémon and not to held items, these will be automatically returned to your Bag.
The Pokémon Bank has a complementary application, PokéTransfer, which allows you to send your Pokémon from your 5th generation cartridges (Black, White, Black 2, White 2) to your 6th generation cartridges. PokéTransfer is not listed in the Nintendo e-Shop, you will have to go through the Pokémon Bank menu. Thanks to PokéTransfer you can send 30 Pokémon at a time and without a transfer limit as was the case for the Friends Park between the 3rd and 4th generation. Be careful because the transfer is one-way, you will no longer be able to send your Pokémon back to the 5th generation. A legit check will block the sending of non-legit Pokémon, in other words obtained via cheat tools.
Since February 26, 2015, the 2nd generation starters are available via the Pokémon Bank with their Hidden Abilities, so we can imagine other events of this kind for the future.
