Pokémon GO’s latest update lets you defeat Team Rocket minions and catch Shadow Pokémon. Check out Professor Willow’s new Field Research to complete for special rewards.
The bug with Pokéstops for obtaining Shadow Pokémon has been fixed and Professor Willow now offers new Field Research.
Scenario
Team GO Rocket has invaded the game, and more specifically the discolored Pokéstops. Unfortunately, some Pokémon have been poisoned and turned dark. But Professor Willow and the team captains have come up with a plan to free them!

- Evolve 2 Pokémon = a wild Pokémon appears (Corneèbre)
- Charge a Pokémon 5 times = a wild Pokémon appears (Sénéfix)
Awards : 1000 stardust, 2000XP
Step 2/4
- Catch 2 Dark Pokémon: Wild Abo appears
- Defeat 3 Team Rocket minions = Wild Kizzle appears
Awards : 1000 Stardust, 2000XP, 5 Golden Raspberry Berries
Step 3/4
- Purify 3 Dark Pokémon = 3000 Stardust
- Purify 1 Grass-type, 1 Water-type, and 1 Fire-type Pokémon = 3000XP
Awards : 2000 Stardust, 5 Silver Nanana Berries, 1 Super Candy
Step 4/4
- Collect the rewards 3 times: 4000 stardust and 3000XP
Awards : 1 CT fast attack, 3 super candies
