A new event called “Pokémon Air Adventures” has just started on Pokémon GO. Special research, Mega-Latias, Mega-Latios, energy… Here’s everything you need to know about this event that will allow you to discover the Pokémon Aeons in a new light.

The big update concerning Mega Evolutions on Pokémon GO is now active worldwide. It arrives with its share of events like “A Mega Moment” or even “Pokémon Aerial Adventures” which was originally planned last year. You will find all the details below to enjoy it.

Pokémon GO Aerial Adventures: Event Dates and Bonuses

  • From Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 8 p.m.
  • Mega-Latias and Mega-Latios make their appearances in Mega Raids,
  • New one-off studies for you asking to capture Flying-Type Pokémon or Pikachu,
  • Pokémon appear more often in the wild,
  • Bonus: The hatching distance divided by 2 when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during this event
  • New stickers are available by spinning PokéStops or opening Gifts, as well as in the shop.

Pokémon Aerial Adventures: Timed Research and Rewards

This event does not have a Special Research, but it will still allow you to participate in one-off studies. These will ask you to capture Flying Pikachu or other Flying-Type Pokémon in order to stay in the theme. Here are the two missions to complete.

  • Catch 10 Pikachu
  • Catch 30 Flying-Type Pokémon

As for the rewards you can receive, you will find:

  • 50 Mega Latias Energy,
  • 50 Mega Latios Energy,
  • 3,000 PX,
  • A meeting with Flying Pikachu.
