In April, Niantic is offering us new events in Pokémon GO like the one called “Surprises of size” which highlights many creatures. On the program, shiny Bamboiselle and shiny Katagami in the raids and the grand premiere of shiny Sovkipou.
The second April event on Pokémon GO begins. The opportunity for you to stock up on candy or Mega-energy for your Charizard but that’s not all and here’s what it has in store for you.
Pokémon GO Big Surprises: Event Dates, Bonuses, and Content
In “Big surprises“, you will be able to find Pokémon from many generations in the wild, in raids as well as in rewards from field research missions. They will be accompanied byPokéStop events as well asone or more collection challenges where you will have to capture very specific species to be rewarded.
The event taking place from Thursday, April 4, at 10 a.m., to Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 8 p.m.will also be entitled to some bonuses that you can see just below.
- Double XP when you catch a Pokémon with a Nice Throw or better. Does not stack with the Classic Community Day bonus.
- Increased chance of encountering XXS or XXL Pokémon in the wild.
- More likely to encounter a chromatic Wailmer.
What does shiny Sovkipou look like in Pokémon GO?
Sovkipou appears for the first time in its chromatic form in Niantic’s mobile game and to avoid missing it, here are the differences with its normal version.
- His body turns from gray to white.
- His tail, antennae and the purple part of his head turn red.
