A new collection challenge is now available during the Sleeping Sand event in Pokémon GO. Get ready to capture Soporifik, Bacabouh, Wattouat or Gouroutan to obtain various rewards including an encounter with Dodoala whose shiny version has just arrived.
The Sleeping Sand event is now available in Pokémon GO. This is your chance to complete a collection challenge related to Pokémon that appear more frequently.
Note : For those who don’t know what awaits you in a collection challenge, it’s quite simple, you just have to obtain the creatures indicated on the page where you find the time studies. Of course, you have to do it within the allotted time if you want to collect the rewards.
Pokémon GO Sleeping Sand: When can we do the collection challenges?

How to get every creature needed for the Collection Challenges on Pokémon GO?
Since you need to capture various Pokémon to complete these two challenges, here are the different ways to get them during this event.
- Soporifik: Wild encounter and field study encounters (catch 10 Pokémon).
- Hypnomade: Evolve Soporifik using 50 candies.
- Wattouat: Wild encounter and Field Study encounter (use 5 berries to catch a Pokémon).
- Lainergie: Evolve Wattouat using 25 candies.
- Pharamp: Evolve Lainergie using 100 candies.
- Gouroutan: Wild encounter and Field Study encounter (catch 10 Pokémon).
- Bacabouh: Wild encounter and Field Study encounter (catch 10 Pokémon).
- Deadly: Evolve Bacabouh using 50 candies.
