Niantic is challenging every team of trainers around the world in a new Pokémon GO event called “Team Triumph” that you can take part in from Friday, August 23 at 11 p.m. to Saturday, August 31 at 8:59 a.m..
Pokémon GO Collective Triumph: Challenges to complete and their bonuses
Unlike most events, this one will ask you to complete a challenge based on the faction you belong to (Bravery, Instinct, or Wisdom). Of course, you can also take part in a paid one-off study or PokéStop events.
Without further ado, here they are:
- Global Bravery Challenge: Beat 75,000,000 Team GO Rocket members.
- Global Intuition Challenge: Hatch 20,000,000 Eggs.
- Global Wisdom Challenge: Complete 35,000,000 Field Study tasks.
Additionally, to help you complete them, you will have various bonuses active for the duration of these challenges.
- Global Valor Challenge: Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in hot air balloons.
- Global Intuition Challenge: Egg hatching distance halved when placed in Incubators during the event.
- Global Wisdom Challenge: Event-themed Field Study tasks will be available.
Pokémon GO Collective Triumph: Challenge Completion Bonuses
Each challenge you complete will allow all trainers to obtain a bonus that will remain active until the end of the event.
Global Bravery Challenge
- Unlocks a special Timed Research dedicated to Team Valor, which leads to an encounter with Ponyta wearing a Candela accessory.
- Double PX by spinning PokéStops.
- Unlocking the Global Intuition Challenge!
Global Intuition Challenge
- Unlocks a special Timed Research dedicated to the Intuition team, which leads to an encounter with Elekid wearing a Spark accessory.
- Stardust doubled when hatching Eggs.
- Unlocking the Global Wisdom Challenge!
Global Wisdom Challenge
- Unlocks a special Timed Study dedicated to the Wisdom team, which leads to an encounter with Lapras wearing a Blanche accessory.
- Two XL Candies guaranteed to evolve Pokémon
