This June’s Community Day invites you to (re)discover Coupenotte, the Fanged Pokémon at the heart of three hours of intensive meetings. Indeed, it will be featured this Saturday, June 10 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Niantic’s game, Pokémon GO. To help you out, we’re taking a look back at this little creature in this Community Day guide.
Pokémon GO Coupenotte Community Day: Bonuses and tips
For a few years now, players of the mobile game have been entitled to a special day each month highlighting a particular Pokémon for a few hours. Seen like that, it’s not necessarily incredible, but there are also interesting bonuses like the increase in the meeting of chromatic forms, or even the time of Incense and Lures which is tripled.
Bonuses activated
- Pokémon Catch Candy x2.
- 2x chance for Trainers level 31 and above to receive XL Candy when catching Pokémon.
- PX ×3 when catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules and Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take some shots during Community Day to get a surprise!
- Three additional Special Exchanges can be made for a maximum of two per day.
- Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust.
- A special study called Sharpen Your Talents will be available if you purchase the dedicated ticket. It will consist of capturing or evolving Coupenotte.
Tips for making the most of the event with Coupenotte
Since this event only lasts a few hours, you need to be well prepared and to help you, we offer you some tips to fully enjoy and optimize your meetings.
First of all, it will be necessary take into account your environmentbecause depending on where you are, it will not be possible to maximize the meeting potential, but you can still take advantage of certain tips.
- Maximum optimization of encounters : using a Lure module and an Incense at the same time,
- Minimal Dating Optimization: using a Lure module or Incense.
Of course, even if you move around in real life you will also find some, but incense and lures will guarantee you Pokémon quite often. Be careful though, Axenotte is not 100% guaranteed to spawn on every creature. However, he has a high chance of appearing.

How to evolve Axenotte in Pokémon GO?
To evolve Coupenotte, you simply need candy. You don’t need any additional items.
- From Coupenotte to Incisache: 25 candies
- From Incisache to Tranchodon: 100 candies
- Number of Coupenotte to catch (excluding x2 Community Day bonus): 42 (21 with Nanana berries)
Tranchodon’s exclusive attack at Community Day
The special feature of this event is that you can obtain an exclusive attack by evolving the featured Pokémon into its final stage. As for Tranchodon, it will be able to Learn Slaughter from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Trainer Combat Power: 50 power and decrease in opponent’s Attack
- Arena and Raid Power: 35
Shiny Coupenotte and its evolutions
To finish this guide and allow you to have what you need, we will return to the shiny version of this Pokémon. Basically, it is green, but In their chromatic form, their eyes and the part that can resemble a scarf are purple, while the rest of their body is lighter.
