Niantic has officially announced its spring event for Easter 2021 on Pokémon GO! In this guide, we’ll detail everything you need to know to make the most of the event in April and the Pokémon to catch.
Easter 2021 on Pokémon GO: event dates and information
The Easter 2021 event will take place from Sunday, April 4 at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, April 8 at 8:00 p.m. (French time). Throughout the event, you will be able to enjoy various bonuses and an increased appearance rate for certain Pokémon.
Special field studies will also be offered to players, by rotating Pokéstops. And, as with every event for the past few months, a special Collection Challenge will be available.
On the permanent bonus side during the event, you will find:
- 2x more candy obtained from hatches,
- 2x more time for Lucky Eggs (they will last 1 hour)
- Egg hatching distance divided by 2.
For the very first time, Sapereau will then be available in its shiny version! Similarly, Ptiravi and Leveinard will wear the flower crown for the first time.
