The Insectomania event is back on Niantic’s mobile game. On the program, the Pokémon Go raids of Tokorico, Hachécateur and Méga-Scarhino as well as the possibility of capturing Shiny Cheniti or Shiny Apitrini. All accompanied by bonuses, PokéStop events or even collection challenges.
Insectomania is back in 2024 on Pokémon GO to allow fans of Bug-type creatures to catch as many as possible. Find out what awaits you in this guide.
Pokémon GO Insectomania: Dates, bonuses and event content
Bug-type Pokémon are in the spotlight in This event takes place from Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. to Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 8 p.m.. The opportunity for you to catch them in their shiny form or even to rub shoulders with Mega-Scarhino who will make his debut in the Mega-Raids. In cases where you are unable to participate in these raids or the PokéStops events that await you, you will still be able tocomplete collection challenges. These will be unlocked at the start of Insectomania so you can collect all the free rewards they offer. All of this will be accompanied by some bonuses that you can find below.
- Double XP when you catch Pokémon with Pretty Throws or better.
- More Candy when you make Nice Throws or better.
- More XL Candies when you make Nice Throws or better if your level is equal to or higher than 31.
- More likely to encounter a Chromatic Apitrini and a Chromatic Cheniti.
