Recently, at Pokémon GO Fest 2018 in Chicago, the Uncanny question mark “?” made his first appearance in the game. An opportunity to go back over everything we know about the Zarbi and make it the list.
Where to find a Zarbi?
So far, 99% of the Zarbi that have been caught by trainers have been captured during special events (like Japan Expo). The remaining 1% is awarded to players who reported on Reddit that they found them near parking lots or industrial areas. This remains to be confirmed, but for now it is extremely rare, if not impossible, to find a Zarbi in the wild without being in an event area.

During the last Pokémon GO Fest, you had to catch 7 Unown in order to unlock Celebi. Perhaps this field study will still be relevant to players around the world when the Mythical Pokémon becomes available, and Niantic will then have to allow trainers to catch the Unowns.
