Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and in Pokémon GO, it’s also the opportunity to participate in an event called the Carnival of Love. You’ll find Lovdisc, Couafarel and shiny Plumeline. Dates, new features… Here’s what you need to know to make the most of it.

Love is in full swing this February, and certain creatures are appearing more often in Pokémon GO to celebrate the Carnival of Love with you.

Pokémon GO Love Carnival: When is it and what bonuses are there?

In “Carnival of Love,” Pokémon that symbolize love will be in the spotlight. You’ll be able to encounter them in the wild as well as in Field Research Phase rewards. All of this will be accompanied by a collection challenge that will allow you to obtain RoseradePokéStop events, and a paid one-time study. In addition, Plumeline will be available in its chromatic form for the first time.

Some bonuses will also be present during the event taking place from Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 10 a.m., to Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 8 p.m.. Here they are:

  • Increased chance of getting XL Candies when walking with your Buddy.
  • Two XL Candies for each Pokémon evolution.

Couafarel Pokémon GO: How to change your hairstyle to get the Heart Cut?

During this event, you will be able to have a Couafarel with a Heart Cup, to do this, you just need to follow the following instructions:

  • Select Couafarel in your Pokémon Storage, navigate to its summary, then press the “Change Form” button to open a menu that lists the available cuts.
  • Select your favorite cut.
  • Changing the cut of your Couafarel for another will cost 25 Couafarel Candies and 10,000 Stardust.

Plumeline

Flamenco Style Plumeline : appears in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Plumeline Style Pom-Pom : appears in the Americas.
Plumeline Style Hula : appears in African, Asian, Pacific and Caribbean islands.
Buyō Style Plumeline : appears in the Asia-Pacific region.
