This January’s Community Day Classic invites you to (re)discover Porygon, the Virtual Pokémon at the heart of three hours of intensive meetings. Indeed, it will be featured this saturday January 20 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Niantic’s game, Pokémon GO. Porygon Pokémon GO: Classic Community Day Bonus
For a few years now, players of the mobile game have been entitled to several special days highlighting a particular Pokémon for a few hours. Seen like that, it’s not necessarily incredible, but there are also interesting bonuses like the increase in the meeting of chromatic forms, or even the time of Incense and Lures which is tripled.
Bonuses activated during Community Day Classic
Here is the list of bonuses that will be active on January 20, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.:
- 3x XP for each Pokémon caught
- Decoy Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take some shots during the Classic Community Day to get a surprise!
- Exclusive Field Studies will be available by spinning PokéStops.
- PokéStop events featuring Porygon will also be present.
In addition, you will be able to take advantage ofa special study by purchasing a ticket for €0.99.
Information about Porygon on Pokémon GO
After seeing the different bonuses, we will focus on the information concerning the featured Pokémon.
How to evolve Porygon in Pokémon GO?
To evolve Porygon, you will simply need a large quantity of candy.
- From Porygon to Porygon2: 25 candies + an Enhancer
- From Porygon2 to Porygon-Z: 100 candies + a Sinnoh Stone
- Number of Porygon to catch (excluding x2 Community Day bonus): 42 (21 with Nanana berries)
Note : A one-time study will be available during the event to give you three Enhancers and three Sinnoh Stones.
Porygon-Z’s exclusive attack at Pokémon GO Community Day Classic
The special feature of this event is that you can get an exclusive attack by evolving the featured Pokémon into its final stage. As for Porygon-Z, it will be able to Learn the charged attack Triple Attack from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Trainer Combat Power: 65 + chance to lower your opponent’s Attack and Defense.
- Arena and Raid Power: 75
Shiny Porygon and its evolutions
To finish this guide and allow you to have what you need, we will return to the shiny version of this Pokémon. In its chromatic form, its body turns blue while its legs and beak turn light purple. So remember to check Porygon’s color when you start an encounter. Also, don’t forget the small icon that will be at the level of the Pokémon’s information bar also allowing you to check if the creature is shiny or not.
