The “free” games for PlayStation Plus Essential in September 2024 have been revealed. An even stronger selection than last month? Here’s the schedule for the coming weeks.
Like every year, the start of the school year will be synonymous with releases. On the PlayStation side, all eyes are on Astro Bot, the next PS5 exclusive that should more than make up for the intergalactic flop of Concord. Football fans will obviously rush to EA FC 25 while others will go and shoot zombies in Dead Rising. The program is clearly less busy than last year and some will wait for the few new features to drop in price. They often count on their subscriptions to pass the time until then. Precisely, PS Plus will offer three new “free” games in September 2024. Sony has officially revealed next month’s trio, which will have a little touch of magic.
PS Plus Essential games for September 2024
Summer vacation or not, Sony is set like clockwork. The Japanese firm is therefore scrupulously following its usual communication schedule by revealing today the next games offered to all subscribers. As had been announced for a long time, the September 2024 program will be based on a day one release. This is increasingly rare for the Essential formula, the publisher favoring more the PS Plus Extra. Those who were disappointed by the absence of Quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy will therefore be able to satisfy their fantasy with the game dedicated to the discipline. As a reminder, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will allow you to take part in matches of this magical sport by playing the different roles such as Beater, Chaser, Keeper or Seeker. To be discovered “for free” from its launch thanks to the PS Plus of September 2024.
It will obviously be accompanied by two other games. As almost every month, we find a sports title. After football and ice hockey, it’s time for baseball with the best simulation of the discipline. Subscribers should find more of what they’re looking for with an excellent production by Bandai Namco. Here is the PS Plus program for September 2024:

When will the next PlayStation Plus games be available?
These three new “free” PS Plus games will be available on Tuesday, September 3 at around 11am PDT. Subscribers will then have until October 1st before that time to add them to their library to keep them for the duration of their subscription. That means you only have a few days left to get your hands on the August freebies. LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach, and Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights can still be claimed until September 3rd before 11am PDT, after which they will be replaced by the new PS Plus trio for September 2024.
