The Radiant Flower is a fairly rare resource in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom if you don’t know where to look! Or at least, you’ll quickly run out of it if you’re wandering around the Depths and getting contaminated by miasma all the time.
Radiant Flower: The Best Anti-Miasma
Although this is a resource that you will be asked for to complete the quest [Le Départ de Tinieh] In Euzéro Village, the Radiant Flower has a much more important use: restoring your hearts cursed in the Depths by the miasma! It is the only ingredient in the entire game that can do this and, thus, the Radiant Flower only becomes rarer. Of course, it is possible to heal your broken hearts simply by teleporting to the Surface or by activating a Root but you still have to be close to the latter.
The Radiant Flower can be added to most recipes in the game to heal your hearts. Be careful not to combine it with another effect (anti-cold for example) at the risk of canceling all the effects of the dish. Here are two examples of simple dishes that can heal your broken hearts (Solaris effect) and even restore them thanks to the other ingredients:
- Solaris Salted Meat [1 viande + 1 cristal de sel + 1 fleur radieuse] : Heals 3 hearts contaminated by miasmas and restores 2 red hearts
- Solaris Venison Rice [1 boisseau de riz + 1 viande + 1 cristal de sel + 1 fleur radieuse] : Heals 3 infected hearts and restores 5+ red hearts
Where to find radiant flowers?
Much like a mirror effect of the Depths, the only way to cure the miasma is found in the Sky of Hyrule. However, you can find some of them at Village of Euzéro since, on the latter, many pieces of celestial islands fell.
The best thing to do is to visit each sky island you come across (take a lookout tower for example). The small islands where there are hidden shrines (those to get the Freefall outfit) are filled with radiant flowers! These reappear after each Blood Moon.
Finally, be sure to upgrade your Pru-ha tablet through Faras’ quests! This will allow you to unlock the very useful option on your camera that helps you find resources more easily.
