Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree adds new Crystal Tears to your Vial of Miraculous Salvation, and two of them have caught the attention of players. The first is primarily defensive, and the second, called Blood-Drinking Cracked Tear, is all about offense. It’s recommended for many builds, such as the Sparkling Surge.
How to enter the Ruins of Unte?
There are a few prerequisites to fulfill, and even reaching the place is far from easy. You can consult our guides of the Map Fragments of the Routes to follow, since you have to reach the kind of basin below, at the foot of the Black Castle, in order to reach the Ruins of Unte.
To do this, you must take the stone coffin hidden near the Painting to reach the area. You will see many carcasses of Furnace Golems, with Furnace Faces to collect, you will need them. One of these golems blocks access to the central building.
The solution is to make a Large pot from the stovethen climb up the ruins to the left of the area. You will need to take the stairs, then climb the walls, in order to reach the balcony which serves as an ideal point to launch your incendiary projectile.
By aiming well inside the basket, this will wake up your opponent, and a classic fight against the Furnace Golem will begin. Upon its death, you will obtain the Blood-Drinking Cracked Tear. Access to the building will also be opened.
How to make Large Stove Pots?
If you don’t have the recipe for the Great Pots of the Furnace, you can find it in the Grave Plain. You need to collect the Potentate’s Manual 2on a corpse west of the stone bridge.
The other components are fairly easy to obtain. Black Butterflies and Messmer Embers can be found in Altus Occulte soldier camps, among other places.
The Great Furnace Mask is obtained by killing a Furnace Golem, or by looting golem carcasses, in the area indicated above.
Objects and points of interest in the Ruins of Unte
In addition to the Crystal Tear obtained from the Golem, you will find two interesting items in the ruins.
The first is an Incantation of Miquella, theGiant Golden Arch. The second is an altar inside. Activating the altar will give you the Stone-Sheathed Sword, if you don’t have it already. If the sword is already in your inventory, the altar will then offer to upgrade it to the Sword of Light.
