One of the first side quests in Once Human is frankly not very obvious when you haven’t yet mastered all the codes of this game. Answering to the name of “Sketch of an inspection point“This quest asks you to find a total of four Rosetta Chip Cards in order to open a Chip Locked Loot Crate. You are guided to find not only this crate that starts the quest, but also all four Rosetta Chip Cards!
Chip Card 1: Once Human’s Eastern Coded Computer
For the first chip card you will have to rack your brains and solve a puzzle. Go to the teleportation tower in the north-east of the Dayton zone and enter the only building there. It is empty and all the computers are turned off except for one that glows purple: it is the key to this last step.
Interact with the computer. You will notice that there are three rings of different colors (red, yellow and blue) on the screen, and a gauge is placed at the bottom. On the sides are circles that you can interact with and make some of these three rings rotate:
- The top button moves the Red ring and the Yellow ring
- The middle button moves all rings at once
- The bottom button moves the Yellow ring and the Blue ring
Your goal is as simple as it is frustrating: make sure that the amount placed in the bright part of the screen is as high as possible, and therefore that the gauge at the bottom is at its maximum, which will allow you to gain access to the file locked by this puzzle, itself containing the code to open the safe near the PC that contains your first smart card!
- Spoiler:
If you don’t want to bother, the code is: 9274
Chip Card 2: Once Human’s Strange Binder
The second chip card you are looking for is very easy to obtain. Simply go to the laboratory located just east of Throughville. There you will find Archives emanating from a strange aura. Interact with them so that other Archives start to glow. Interact with it too to generate other strange Archives which, once inspected, will cause the chip card to fall out of the last filing cabinet. Remember to pick it up, it is on the ground and not directly in your inventory after searching the Archives!
Chip Card 3: The Truck and the Time Anomaly from Once Human
The third code is easy to find, as it is located on a satellite truck just northeast of Deadsville. Simply climb onto the truck to see a temporal anomaly. Press your Space-Time key (default: A) to discover a hidden Crate containing the third chip card you are looking for!
Chip Card 4: The Truck and the Time Anomaly from Once Human
The last chip card is located at the Brookham Guardhouse, north of the Greed Monolith. There you will see that there is an antenna below which several teddy bears are arranged in a circle. Go to the roof of the house where the satellite dish is hanging nearby, behind it is a lone teddy bear glowing with a strange light. Pick it up and place it near the other teddy bears under the antenna to reveal The Teddy Bear Girl. Talk to her so she can open the last card you need.
