Since August 1, 2018, Spinda is available in the game thanks to the new field quests. Niantic has since allowed Pokémon GO players to capture several of its patterns over time, notably thanks to these field studies. Today, Spinda is still an extremely rare creature, a bit like an Unown, which is not even available in the wild. Only special quests will allow you to obtain it from time to time and collect its patterns.

It is therefore impossible to catch it in the wild at the moment, and there are 8 entries on the Pokédex corresponding to its 8 patterns. Here is the list:
What does Spinda shiny look like?
Note that each of Spinda’s forms is now available in a shiny version. Instead of being white and red, the bear cub is now spotted with green. It is very easy to recognize it but, once again, Spinda is a rare Pokémon that you can only obtain during special events.
Note: The April 1, 2024 event is the most recent one to date. Field studies grant you Spinda encounters all day long.
