Your search for rare items and unique outfits in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has only just begun. This is a mission that should help you greatly, especially if you want to acquire ancient relics from Breath of the Wild. Find a video walkthrough above as well as the written and illustrated version of the guide below.
Unlock the quest “The Treasure of the Lizard Ponds”
Once you have completed Yunobo’s main quest, from Goron Village with the Fire Temple, return to Goron Village and go to the center to talk to Yunobo and Buldo. They will have a quest for you called “The Treasure of the Lizard Ponds”. Note that this has nothing to do with the famous Mountain Breaker that you can obtain via the blacksmith.
Yunobo will then give you a enigma (still) that you will have to solve to find a chest containing a very practical reward.
Where to go to find the treasure?
Before giving you the solution, take a good look at the riddle again:
Head north of Goron Village and spot two lizard-shaped ponds to the left of Death Mountain! These are the famous two lizard ponds that look at each other and hide the treasure.
Between their two heads is a pile of rocks on a cliff: this is the entrance to the secret cave! You can break the rock with Yunobo’s power or with a mallet.
Once inside, there are no puzzles to solve unlike the Divine Helm of Medoh in Hebra. You only have to move forward a little to find the chest containing the Rudania’s Divine Helm. If you wear it, it will give you the level 1 anti-fire effect. Also note that the water from the hot springs has a restorative effect: don’t forget to bathe there to restore your hearts easily.
