Although my Agatha Harkness deck still allows me to win cubes, games and collection points at a crazy pace, tinkering with new decks is a big part of the fun of Marvel Snap. One that, of course, I had no intention of leaving behind.
With all the new cards I have won, I have finally managed to get my hands on Shuriso I quickly started looking for decks and doing experiments that would allow me to get the most out of it. And after a lot of testing, I think I’ve found the deck of Marvel Snap definitive.
The best Shuri deck
Yeah Shuri has become so important to the game is mainly because of his skill, a “when revealed” which doubles the power of the next card you play. The idea is to dispel any drawbacks that a powerful card might have that could jeopardize our position in a location.
Here’s a button for example. I’m sure many of you will back off with Red Skull for giving +2 power to all enemy cards that are in the same location as the Hydra boss. Giving away 8 points for free makes its 15 points, even though it is a 5 cost card, taste bittersweet.
After all, a 5/7, if we subtract the points we give away, sounds worse than we would like. But things change if we are actually faced with a 5/22, the result that could end up being the worst case after reaching 30 points thanks to Shuri.
With that mastodon on the table, the arrival of a Arnim Zola that finishes distributing it on the table, or a TaskMaster having another area come to support us with another 30 points without the small print, is the easiest way to end a very easy game that can only become unbalanced if locations or rivals manage to put us against the ropes.
With Aero converted to a 5/14 as an optional alternative, or She-Hulk at a knockdown price allowing you to play it converted into a 1/20 and then copy that power with TaskMaster By turn 6, it is clear that the last three turns are more than assured if the cards are dealt face up.
For the former, however, it is mainly about table control. Sunspot It always comes in handy to scratch energy points that have been left around, the duo of Zero and Titania either Lizard can leave us with 8 points in a location on turn 2, Armor can slow down removal decks and secure our late turns, and Cosmos It is always the ideal way to annoy an opponent who thinks he has his Wong face to face.
The problem is that more often than we would like it depends a lot on Shuri to get the most out of it and, as you might have guessed, there is no card capable of overshadowing it or matching the incredible boost in points that the new one promises us. Black Panther.
It is not particularly complex to play, nor does it require having very advanced cards that we have not yet reached. If what you like is playing with huge creatures that do not give your opponent the chance to reply, I think you will enjoy this very much. Marvel Snap Deck.
