What is Hamster Kombat? Learn about the latest Telegram cryptocurrency game preparing for airdrop

Hamster Kombat, a Telegram-based clicker, has quickly dominated the play-to-earn space by continuing Notcoin’s winning model.

The Hamster Kombat team recently announced it will launch an airdrop on The Open Network (TON), rewarding players for accumulating coins in the game.

That will definitely attract more people to the game, but as of this writing, new players can still join and earn coins before the airdrop. Here’s what you need to know about Hamster Kombat, how to play as well as information about tokens and airdrops.

What is Hamster Kombat?

Similar to Notcoin, Hamster Kombat allows players to mine for coins in the native Telegram app (or “mini app”) – meaning to play the game, you just need to open a chat on Telegram.

The developers claim the game has more than 60 million users, all eager to participate to earn coins – which will presumably be used to determine the number of tokens players receive in an upcoming airdrop.

While Hamster Kombat has been around since March, the game recently gained a lot of attention after the Notcoin airdrop ended – perhaps because gamers switched to a new game that was about to undergo an airdrop.

The core concept of Hamster Kombat is similar to Notcoin, with some slightly richer game mechanics. In short: This is a tap-to-earn game combined with a cryptocurrency exchange simulator.

In Hamster Kombat, the user takes on the role of the CEO of a growing cryptocurrency exchange and the user’s task is to grow this exchange to new heights never seen before… in the hamster world . To do so, players tap a gold coin to earn coins, then use those coins to upgrade their exchange.

How to play Hamster Kombat

Hamster Kombat gets a familiar start for Notcoin users by tapping gold coins in the Telegram app. However, with Hamster Kombat, the first step is to shave a hamster so it can become the CEO of a cryptocurrency exchange.

Similar to Notcoin, players can use their in-game points to purchase “Boosts” that increase stats, such as how many points they earn per tap or how long they can tap for before having to rest. and wait for the energy bar to refill. There are also free daily boosters that players can claim six times per day.

Once players have earned some points, they can start using them to upgrade the exchange in the game’s “Mine” tab. This tab shows all the types of exchange upgrades players can purchase (entirely with in-game currency) and includes adding coins like Bitcoin to trade at the player’s exchange, set up a KYC process, or even go on Joe Rogan’s Podcast.

Each exchange upgrade will help players earn more coins passively. For example, adding a BTC pair to the exchange costs 250 points, but then the player earns 40 points per hour. In other words, these additions quickly bring results and help push the player’s exchange further.

When is the airdrop?

So, what is the purpose of making money in the game? Similar to Notcoin, Hamster Kombat has also announced plans for an upcoming airdrop, although much more transparently than Notcoin at first.

In the Hamster Kombat app, there is an “Airdrop” tab that claims that the exchange and market maker alliances have reached an agreement – but does not give an exact date for the airdrop.

Notcoin operated for three months before taking a break from the game and then launching the token a little over a month later. Of course, Hamster Kombat may not be a “copycat” – but given the level of hype that Notcoin has achieved and translated into market value, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Hamster Kombat follow a similar path.
