Where to find Noïa Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: How to expand your weapon inventory?

Even though weapons, bows, and shields break with use in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, freeing up space in your inventory, you’ll definitely want to expand your satchel to pick up as many as possible and have a wider range of options. Here’s how to do it.

Prerequisites for expanding your inventory

Find Noïa at the Relais de Delass

In order to be able to expand your inventory, just like in Breath of the Wild, you will first need to find the big Noïa. It is at a fixed location, not far from the Relais de Delass. To get there, do not hesitate to use the Observation Tower of the Fort Guet to soar high into the sky. From there, head west to find the Labulat Mountain Tower (visible from afar thanks to the spotlights).

This is the area between Hebra and Central Hyrule. You can find the exact location below:

In general, players who decide to start with the main quest of Hebra (direction Piaf Village), easily come across this relay. This is also where you can find Impa and one of the geoglyphs. Once at the relay, follow the path to the north to come across Noïa. By talking to her, you will trigger the quest “Noïa’s Troubles”.

Complete the quest “Noia’s Troubles”

  • Place : near the Delass relay
  • NPC : Noia
  • Objective : Noïa is afraid of the trees in front of him because they move.
  • Solution : Get close to cut them with an axe without getting hit to avoid damage,
  • Reward : Expand your satchel in exchange for a korogu nut. You can then expand it for 2 nuts.

The Search for the Korogus

As you will have understood, if you wish to enlarge your bag, you will need to be in possession of a multitude of Korogus nuts. And that’s good… Just like in the first opus, it seems that there are 900 to collect in the kingdom of Hyrule. Use the interactive map to find them easily.

Where to find Noïa next?

Noia’s location is not fixed. When he no longer accepts Korogu nuts, he will then tell you where he will go on his next stop. Here is the list of places you can find him and in what order:

  1. Delass Relay (the starting quest),
  2. Fort de Guet (next to the stable),
  3. Lost Woods (after advancing in the scenario)

From now on, he will be at the Fort (how convenient!) and you will be able to exchange your nuts with him to expand the storage space of your inventory of weapons, shields or bows.

At most, it is possible to have 20 weapon slots, 20 shield slots and 14 bow slots. The cost in Korogu nuts is increasingly higher for each upgrade: it starts with 1 nut and can go up to 55 nuts needed for the last weapon slot.
