Yunobo from Goron Village Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: How to complete this main quest

Young Yunobo seems possessed by Zelda who forces him to produce Savoroche for the inhabitants of the Goron Village. With Link’s help, the stone man will be able to free himself and seek the cause of this evil in this main quest of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Here we detail the steps of the rather complex quest, before reaching the famous Fire Temple. Note that this is the third dungeon that you will do if you follow our advice on the best order to do the quests. Before that, we therefore advise you to complete Babil of Piaf Village and Sidon of Zora’s Domain.

Arrival at Goron Village and Savouroche

It is at Goron Village that begins Yunobo’s big main quest to obtain his power. In the Ordinn region, in the northeast of the map, you just have to follow a large path with wooden arches. You will come across some Gorons on the road who have red eyes and seem obsessed with their pieces of meat: the Savoroche.

At the entrance to the village, two of them will want to scam you but, fortunately, the Gerudo Labira will save your ass. He is a very important NPC who can buy back your gems more expensive than elsewhere. So don’t hesitate to complete his mini side quest “The Amber Buyer” to get 200 rubies easily by selling him 10 pieces of amber. This will allow you to buy a piece of the stone outfit.

Once you arrive at the village, talk to the old man Buldo who is in the center, watching a Goron slumped on the ground. The main quest will then begin. Yunobo (voiced in French by Donald Reignoux) will then enter and you will understand that he too is affected by the evil that haunts the Goron village. Worse still, he is the one who produces the Savoroche under the control of Lady Zelda!

If you want a teleport point to the village, feel free to complete the Malaq Guti Shrine.

Obtain the Goron Fire Armor

After this heated discussion, you must find Yunobo and the children at Yun & Cie headquarters a little further north. You can walk there or use the rails, with a wagon, to get there more easily. The children will let you pass but the heat inside is stifling and makes you burn! You must buy a stone outfit if you want to continue.

Note that one piece is enough, you don’t need to buy the complete equipment.

Beat Masked Yunobo

With your stone armor, you can now enter the cave and see Yunobo producing Savoroche by throwing himself against the wall. Trying to remove his mask to free himself from her grip, Zelda will force him to keep it and you will have to face the Goron. Don’t panic, the fight is very simple. You just need towait for Yunobo to rush at youmaking him aim at a wall. He will then be stunned and you can hit him (one hit is enough) to break a piece of his mask. You must do this three times in order to free him.

You will then unlock its power and can use it to exit the cave. On the way, you can demolish a red rock to access the secret sanctuary of Isi Sime.

The path to the mountain and the fight against Angania

Your goal now is togo to the top of the Death Mountain volcano. Halfway through, feel free to help Mohtar to cross the lava in a wagon and then use the rails that go up to reach the top. On the way, you can use Yunobo’s power to eliminate obstacles and enemies. Once at the top, complete the Si Tumoi shrine well to unlock a useful teleport point.

You will have to fight thehydra Angania using an airship to gain altitude and send Yunobo onto his red rock heads to destroy them. Once done, dive into the chasm.

The depths

The mission is far from over! To reach the Temple of Fire, you will have to venture into the Depths while avoiding the terrible miasma. Use Lumos flowers to light up or a remedy. Aim for the first root bioluminescent that you will come across while falling from the chasm to activate it and illuminate the area. Then look for the yellow dot on your map and head towards it to find Yunobo. The temple is not far after that.

The Temple of Fire

Here you are finally in front of the Fire dungeon! A sort of Mine where you will have to use the network of rails and wagons to unlock 5 padlocks and then face the Boss Lithogohma.
