One of the main missions in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, just like in the previous game, is to visit the four domains of Hyrule and help their leaders restore them. If you head to the Zora Domain and his prince Sidon, you will probably get stuck when you have to find King Dorefah in his mysterious cave. Here’s how to do it!
Zora Children’s Clues
To help you out, a video walkthrough is available at the very top of this article. Otherwise, here’s how to find the king once you’ve restored the engraving with Jitato, at Lake Toto.
- Return to Zora’s Domain and go up to the top, to the throne room: you will see three little girls who do not want to be listened to! They are talking about the king.
- The goal is to go around the room and hide behind one of the ledgesclose to them,
- A “listen” button should then appear and you will hear their conversation regarding Doréfah,
- Several clues will be left for you about this famous secret hiding place of the king,
- “A place with clear water”: you need to find a place where the water is normal and not contaminated by mud,
- “somewhere between the domain and Mount Lightning”: this corresponds exactly to where you normally went to find Sidon at Lake Mipha,
- “a secret entrance behind the waterfall”
Where is King Dorefah hiding?
Now that you have the clues in your possession, you may understand that it is necessary return to the foot of the waterfall of Mikau Lakewhich you climbed up using the Zora Armor to reach Sidon. This time, don’t go up the river and instead head head first into the waterfall to cross it. You will then see the entrance to the “Crystal Falls Cache”.
Once inside, move towards the back and use the power Infiltration to cross the ceiling and go up one floor. This is where you will find King Dorefah. He will explain to you that he is injured, covered in slime, because of a monster that Princess Zelda supposedly summoned. Then return to Sidon at Lake Mipha to continue the main quest of Zora’s Domain.
