Nyahaha, you found me! While this phrase, repeated over and over, can quickly become annoying in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, it must be admitted that the more than 900 Korogus present in the game are not all easy to find. Fortunately, an item should help you obtain this special outfit.
Where to find the Korogu mask?
The Zelda TotK map follows a certain logic: the Korogu mask is located in the Depths, just below the Korogu Forest. As it is very complex to unlock the Lost Woods, we advise you to go through the chasm located at the bottom right of this area in order to activate the Aliq Onassum root of the Korogu Sylve. Then go to the left to find the Alamob Nuqes root which will illuminate the surroundings. From there, follow the trail of Banana Blades on the ground!
You will arrive directly at the forest amphitheater and you will have to face a Hinox Black to get the chest containing the Korogu Mask. The video at the top of the article will surely help you much more.
How to use the Korogu mask?
Simply equip your mask in your inventory and continue exploring Hyrule. When the mask starts to tremble (visually) and making a typical Korogu noise, it means that one of the creatures is a few meters away from you. Be careful, you have to be close enough and attentive to the sound. If the mask is a valuable aid to find the Korogu nuts, and thus expand your inventory to the max, it will surely not allow you to find them all in record time.
All you have to do then is find Noïa to unlock your inventory slots for weapons, shields and bows.
