Here’s a new observation tower from Zelda Tears of the Kingdom that will give you a problem. No monsters to kill this time or brambles to burn, but you will have to find the mechanism repairer in a cave a little further away.
How to activate the Peuliers tower?
- Region : Firone/Necluda
- Issue : the mechanism is broken
- Solution : find the repairer!
The Peuliers (and not peupliers) observation tower is HS. You must find the repairman but, unfortunately, the latter is prisoner in a cave a few steps from here. Go down the cliffs south of the tower, in order to find the entrance to the cave (Coordinates: 0605, -2226, 0051). A blue rabbit from Elusis even shows you the way!
Once inside, move forward and you will see a man behind a gate. Step on the pressure plate to activate it and free him. He will give you 50 rupees and will go directly to repair the tower. Go back out or use Infiltrate the cave to return to the tower to activate it and reveal the map of this area.
Unlock all TotK observation towers
If you want to map out your entire Hyrule map before embarking on in-depth exploration or completing the main quests, then you will need to go through the 15 towers available on the Surface. This will also unlock the sky map for you at the same time. As for the Depths, you need to illuminate them using the roots.
And while some are very simple to activate (you just have to open the doors), others like the one on the Plain are a little more complex. Those that you have to climb entirely for example to be able to jump inside or those blocked by brambles and other mud.
