Step One: Unlock the Yiga Outfit
If you want to get the Thunder Mask, you will first need to get the Yiga outfit since you will need to go to one of their lairs. To do this, follow our dedicated guide below:
Now that you have the full Yiga outfit equipped, head to the Yiga Hideout of the Gerudo Lands as shown on the map below. You can go through the Gerudo Heights Tower. Once there, talk to the guard in front of the entrance who will give you the quest “Infiltration of the Yiga” so that you can go and get the three pieces of Yiga equipment. If you have the outfit on you, he will let you pass without hindrance and you will have access to many shops.
Step Two: Train for Combat
Still in this lair, access the large main room and climb the ladder to find an officer at the very top who will offer to confront you.
To obtain the lightning mask, you will need to complete the test three times:
- First test: eliminate 3 enemies within the time limit – Reward: Parasail canvas
- Second test: eliminate 6 enemies within the time limit – Reward: Earth Shock technique
