Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Vigor Carrot: Where to easily find it for Marlon, the Horse Fairy?

The Stamina Carrot is a fairly rare resource in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom if you don’t know where to look, and yet you’re going to need it if you want to unlock an important feature of the game or simply enjoy more stamina.

What are vigor carrots used for?

The main use of carrot vigor is to be used in the preparation of your recipes. Indeed, it is one of the only ingredients that can grant an extra stamina bar (yellow) when you consume it. The best is to prepare a vegetarian curry for example, with 1 vigorous carrot, 1 crystal of salt and 1 bottle of goron spices.

The other use of the Vigor Carrot is to unlock Marlon, the fifth Great Fairy and goddess of horses. To get her to come out of her bud, you will have to give her this precious resource. Thanks to her, and by giving her some dishes, you will be able to resurrect one of your horses or even improve your most faithful horse.

Carrot vigor

This valuable vegetable, considered a medicinal plant, is rich in invigorating agents. Dishes containing it provide more than maximum endurance.

Where to find it : in certain areas of Hyrule such as Mount Satori

Utility : recipes giving an extra endurance gauge

Where to find Vigor Carrots?

Unlike regular Tempo Carrots which are a bit easier to find, Vigor Carrots are very rare. Luckily, there are several spots where you can get some and wait for a Blood Moon to go there again:

  • There are always some around the buds of the Great Fairies,
  • There is always at least one at the foot of each Satori cherry tree and several at Mount Satori,
  • There are some where you can capture the giant white horse,
  • Finally, if you have Amiibos, now is the time to use them (even non-Zelda ones): some will give you ingredients including vigor carrots.

And as with every time you are looking for a resource, we advise you to go and improve your Pru’ha tablet thanks to Faras’ quests. You will then unlock a very useful option that allows you to easily find an ingredient (or other) that you have taken a photo of.
