For the first time, Apple has thrown out a new generation of the iPad Air available in two sizes: one 11 inches and a larger 13 inches. Both maintain a thin design characteristic of this range and adopt the old Apple M2 as SoC, being one step below the new iPad Pro with the M4. Even soit is a considerable leap in performance if we compare it with the A14 Bionic of the previous iPad Air.
We have a “retina” screen with 2,732 x 2,048 pixels in the 13-inch model, with coverage of the P3 range and a maximum brightness of 600 peak nits.
Both models have support for the Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil, as well as the new Magic keyboard.
They offer a 12 Megapixel front camera located on the long edge for horizontal use, instead of the traditional situation on the upper short edge. It is combined with another 12 megapixel rear camera and intelligent HDR, with also support for 4K video recording.
The new generation 11-inch Apple iPad Air starts at 699 euros, while the 13-inch variant goes to 949 inches.
